"Penn Highlands Choice" customers enjoy access to:
- A Local Provider Network consisting of over 425 of the best community physicians and seven hospitals located throughout the region.
- A Regional Provider Network of 50 hospitals and over 4,100 physicians in western Pennsylvania, including high specialty facilities.
- A National Provider Network of transplant and other centers of excellence throughout the country.
As a preferred provider organization (PPO) product, Penn Highlands Choice is designed to provide the greatest level of flexibility to our members. In all of our programs you are able to see any of the health care providers in our physician network without referrals, and they are covered at the highest benefit level.
Additionally, you have the freedom to see providers outside of the PHHP network if you chose, and your benefits will be paid at the lower level.
